Charity and Fundraising

Winchcombe Playgroup is a registered charity and we rely on fundraising and donations to provide outstanding childcare and facilities for your children

The ways we

raise funds

Fundraising

Winchcombe Playgroup is a not-for-profit organisation and a registered charity (Number 1052087).

Fundraising is essential
to keep it up and running.

We have a fundraising committee which organises events and activities to help raise money for a wide range of projects. Recent additions include an outdoor canopy and a new play kitchen for the children.

If you have any fundraising ideas or would like to raise money for us - whether through sponsorship, a coffee morning, or any other event - please get in touch.

Volunteering

As a not-for-profit organisation, we need a team of volunteers to help keep Playgroup up and running.

Could you volunteer some of your time? Regular sessions are available, or we could call you on an ad hoc basis for a spot of gardening, or to run a stall at a fundraising event if you prefer.

It's a fun way to make new friends and give something back to the local community.  All help is gratefully received and the children and our volunteers always enjoy each others company!

Complete the form below to add yourself to our volunteers list.

Our Committee

As part of its charitable status, the Playgroup is required to have a management committee made up of parents and community members.

If you are a parent or grandparent of children at playgroup,
or a member of the local community looking to get involved in a worthwhile cause for the future of Winchcombe, we would love to hear from you.

Our Thanks To
Wooden Spoon

The generous grant of £2,200 from the Wooden Spoon children's charity means we have been able to provide our children with a new fully-interactive IT screen for the new Learning and Nurture room.
